Yeshua, YHVH, and the Divine Council: The Noahide Deception Exposed

Updated: Sep 4

Series Introduction – In this series of posts we’re exploring the Divine Council and YHVH’s sovereignty… The Noahide Laws contradict what Scripture teaches about Yeshua’s deity…

A Word on the Likelihood of Any Other “Messiah

It's not just unlikely — it's impossible — for any man born today to fulfill the prophecies with the depth, precision, and historical alignment that Yeshua has. He was born before the destruction of the Second Temple, crucified in a manner described centuries earlier, pierced, mocked, and yet exalted — all in accordance with the Law, the Prophets, and the Writings.

Every requirement — from divine origin to being born a man, rejection, atonement, resurrection, and enthronement — has already been perfectly fulfilled in Him. To expect another is not hope; it is to deny the very blueprint God gave us. There is no scriptural second shot. The Messiah has already come — and He is returning.

Noahide Laws Christianity
Yeshua Jesus deity

In an age where ancient truths are being challenged by modern interpretations, we find ourselves confronting a growing movement that seeks to separate the nations from their Redeemer. The Noahide framework, rooted in Talmudic tradition rather than Torah, claims that Gentiles are forbidden from worshiping Yeshua as God — relegating Him to merely a good teacher for the Jews while demanding the nations bow to a different standard.

This is not just theological error; it's spiritual rebellion against the very heart of YHVH's redemptive plan.

My Position:

The modern promotion of Noahide Laws as a divine framework for Gentile believers represents a fundamental departure from biblical truth and Torah principles. Rather than being rooted in Scripture, these laws emerge from Talmudic tradition and rabbinic interpretation—human additions that contradict YHVH's clear declaration of "one law" for both native-born and stranger alike (Exodus 12:49). This teaching creates an artificial spiritual hierarchy that denies Gentiles full access to the covenant while potentially criminalizing faith in Yeshua's divinity as idolatry.

The Scriptures reveal that YHVH's covenant has always been open to all mankind, with Gentiles being grafted into Israel through Messiah rather than relegated to a lesser standard. By examining the actual commands given to Noah in Genesis 9, the unified law given at Sinai, and the warning against adding to God's word (Deuteronomy 4:2), we can expose how Noahide doctrine undermines biblical monotheism, distorts true Torah obedience, and serves religious-political agendas that ultimately lead believers away from the fullness of YHVH's instructions.

Theological Foundation: Understanding Yeshua's True Identity

Before we can fully understand how Yeshua's divinity refutes Noahide denial, we must establish the biblical foundation clearly. When Scripture speaks of Yeshua as divine, it reveals Him as YHVH incarnate - not the Father Himself, but the perfect manifestation of YHVH in flesh who reveals the Father to us. Just as Yeshua declared, "He who has seen Me has seen the Father" (John 14:9), we understand that worshipping Yeshua is worshipping YHVH made visible.

They are one in the same way a husband and wife are one - distinct yet unified in power, purpose, and essence. When Yeshua said, "I and the Father are one" (John 10:30), He wasn't claiming to BE the Father, but declaring their perfect unity - like a marriage where two become one without losing their distinctiveness.

The textual evidence from John 1:18 is crucial here. The Greek text calls Yeshua "the only begotten God" (monogenēs theos) - not "the only begotten Son" as many translations render it. This isn't speaking of Yeshua as a created son, but as the unique God who proceeds from the Father - YHVH incarnate who reveals the invisible God in visible form.

This isn't the later church's complex Trinity formulations, but the simple biblical truth that YHVH became flesh while remaining in perfect unity with the Father's creative power that sustains all creation. This maintains perfect monotheism: one God expressing Himself through YHVH incarnate and the Father's presence throughout creation.

  1. Not Scriptural: I believe that the Noahide Laws are not found in Torah as given by YHVH to Moses and the children of Israel. Instead, they are Talmudic inventions, later codified by rabbis — not YHVH.

  2. One Law for All: I cannot emphasize enough that YHVH gave one law for both the native-born and the stranger (Exodus 12:49, Numbers 15:15-16), and that the covenant is open to all mankind, not just Israelites. Therefore, creating a separate category of law (like the Noahide Laws) for Gentiles is in contradiction to the Torah itself.

  3. Spiritual Deception: We should not fail to discussed how the Noahide laws are being used to create a false religious standard — one that excludes Messiah and distorts true Torah obedience, often promoted by religious-political agendas (such as UN declarations or alliances with rabbinic councils).

  4. Criminalization of Worship: I must raise concerns about how belief in Yeshua as divine could be classified under "idolatry" in Noahide systems — potentially being labeled a capital offense under certain interpretations of those laws. This directly contradicts our understanding that worshipping Yeshua is worshipping YHVH incarnate - not idolatry but the highest form of monotheistic worship.

  5. Biblical Foundations: We need to seriously consider Torah passages like:

    • Genesis 9 (actual commands given to Noah, which were few and not what the Noahide laws claim today)

    • Exodus and Leviticus (outlining the covenant given to Israel — including moral, civil, and ceremonial commands)

    • Deuteronomy 4:2 ("Do not add to the word I command you…")

    • John 1:18 (textual evidence for "only begotten God")

    • John 8:58 ("Before Abraham was, I AM" - claiming YHVH's eternal name)

    • Psalm 82:1 (Divine Council framework showing YHVH's sovereign authority)

Additional Themes to Strongly Consider:

  • The Council of Jerusalem in Acts 15 and how it's often misused to validate Noahide-type thinking.

  • That Gentiles grafted into Israel through Messiah are not subject to a lesser law — but are called to walk in the fullness of YHVH's instructions.

  • The contrast between Talmudic law vs. Torah law, and how elevating oral traditions over written commandments lead to deception. Sound Familiar!!!

  • The Divine Council passages (Psalm 82, Deuteronomy 32:8-9) that reveal YHVH's sovereignty over heavenly beings and earthly nations.

  • How the same YHVH who presided over the Divine Council became flesh as Yeshua to reclaim the nations divided at Babel.

  • Daniel 7:13-14 and the "Son of Man" receiving eternal dominion - Divine Council language showing Yeshua's cosmic authority.

The Journey Ahead

Over the next ten posts, we will journey through Scripture to uncover the profound truth that has been hidden in plain sight: Yeshua is YHVH incarnate, the eternal God who stepped into His own creation to redeem both Israel and the nations. This is not Christian innovation or Gentile wishful thinking — it is the consistent testimony of the Hebrew Scriptures, fulfilled in perfect precision.

We will explore:

  • The Divine Council — How YHVH governs through heavenly beings and why this framework reveals Yeshua's eternal authority as the same YHVH who presided over the heavenly assembly

  • Yeshua's Divine Identity — His direct claims to deity and the worship He receives from heaven and earth as YHVH incarnate, not the Father, but perfectly revealing the Father

  • Prophecies Fulfilled — The impossible precision with which ancient prophecies find their completion in Him alone

  • God's Appearances — How YHVH's visible manifestations throughout the Tanakh foreshadow the Incarnation

  • Intimate Relationship — God's heart as Father, Husband, and Redeemer toward His people understanding the Father's creative power unified with YHVH incarnate

  • Divine Brotherhood — How the Messiah becomes our kinsman-redeemer while remaining fully God

  • God's Family — The mystery of adoption that brings both Jew and Gentile into one household of faith under one law, not separate Noahide standards

  • Refuting Denial — Why the Noahide framework contradicts Torah itself and leads to spiritual bondage by criminalizing worship of YHVH incarnate

Why This Matters Now

We live in a time when the nations are being told they must choose between worshiping the Creator and honoring the Messiah — as if these were different beings. But Scripture reveals they are One. The same YHVH who spoke from Sinai is the same Yeshua who walked among us. The same God who chose Israel as His portion is the same Savior who opened the door for all nations to come home.

When Noahide teachers claim that worshipping Yeshua creates "another god" alongside the Father, they fundamentally misunderstand the biblical revelation. We don't worship two gods - we worship one God, YHVH, who became flesh as Yeshua while remaining unified with the Father. Worshipping Yeshua is worshipping YHVH incarnate, not idolatry but the highest form of monotheistic worship.

This series is not about winning debates; it's about revealing truth that sets people free. It's about understanding that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob did not abandon the nations to lesser gods, but came Himself to reclaim what was always His.

The Messiah has come. The nations are called. And YHVH's plan of redemption is unfolding exactly as He promised.

By way of this series, we will build a thorough, Scripture-based argument showing that:

  1. YHVH Himself walked on the earth;

  2. Yeshua is YHVH made manifest in the flesh - not the Father, but unified with the Father like husband and wife are one;

  3. Worship of Yeshua is not idolatry, but rightfully directed worship of the God of Israel - YHVH incarnate;

  4. The Noahide rejection of Yeshua as LORD is built on man-made tradition, not Scripture and violates the "one law" principle of Torah;

  5. The Divine Council idea supports the concept that YHVH can appear, delegate, and still remain one - the same YHVH who governed the heavenly assembly became flesh to reclaim the nations.
