You may recognize this word from the book of Esther, from the bible. Hadassah was Esther‘s real name. Hadassah represents righteousness and Esther means ‘hidden’. A Myrtle tree in Hebrew is hadas. Usually adding the -ah would mean a female myrtle tree, however for the sake of the name, the -ah changes the meaning entirely. Since that time it has come to represent compassion and is used as a name for a woman. Hadassah, signifying compassion, is a lovely name. May we all have hadassah in this world where the righteousness of God is all-to-often unseen but manifested through deed.

I imagine that some of you are interested in some of the same things.  i had had this site hosted elsewhere for several years and then it had to come down. So, if you can bare with me, it may take some time to regenerate content. i don’t have copies of many of the articles I wrote but will do my best to recreate or just start over.
