🕊️Part 1: A New Kind of Grace: Yeshua’s Gift That Does More Than Cover

Yeshua’s grace isn’t just favor… it’s power that enters the soul and transforms the will.

A radiant divine figure of Yeshua in flowing garments extends a glowing hand toward an emotional human soul below. Heavenly light breaks through clouds while Hebrew (חֵן) and Greek (χάρις) script float in the background, representing the transition from Old Testament favor to New Testament grace. Olive branches and subtle thorns accent the ethereal scene, blending divine authority with tender mercy in a composition designed for the blog header "Weapons of Grace: A New Kind of Grace."
A New Kind of Grace

This study is tightly based on the biblical usage outline as describe HERE

🕯️ INTRO: What Is This Grace?

The Bible is full of grace — literally. But as I studied it more closely, I began to see something shocking: The grace Yeshua gives is not the same as the grace described in the Torah.

In the Tanakh, the word translated as grace is ḥen (חֵן) — typically meaning favor, mercy, or goodwill shown between people or between man and God. It's a kind of approval. It's external.

But in the New Testament, the Greek word is charis (χάρις) — and that word is loaded with spiritual weight. Charis is not just favor. It is a divine influence that acts upon the heart and soul, changing thoughts, emotions, intentions, and will.

This isn’t just grace you receive. It’s grace that goes to work.

“Grace is poured into Your lips; therefore God has blessed You forever.”(Psalm 45:2) “The Word became flesh and lived among us… full of grace and truth.”(John 1:14) “The grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.”(1 Timothy 1:14)

📖 GRACE THAT MOVES — AND TRANSFORMS

The Greek word charis describes a power that:

  • Enters the soul

  • Governs the seat of emotions and will

  • Strengthens, heals, and even transfers divine influence to others when spoken

It doesn't just bring favor — it governs behavior. It’s what compels obedience, affection, joy, thanksgiving, and the fruit of the Spirit.

“Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Yeshua the Messiah.”(2 Peter 3:18) “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.”(2 Corinthians 12:9)

What kind of grace is sufficient for weakness? Not a feeling. A force.

💥 GRACE THAT INFUSES THE WILL

This grace doesn’t simply exist as a trait of God — it is poured out into human souls. And where it lands? It changes things.

In my study, I realized:

  • Sin wounds the soul (the place of emotions, feelings, and willpower)

  • Yeshua’s blood atones for sin — but His grace restores and strengthens the soul

  • This grace governs our thoughts and decisions (see Hebrews 4:12)

  • Grace is a spoken force (see Psalm 45:2, Job 22:28)

“I decree and receive Your holy influence over those things that attempt to control my feelings and emotions…”(from the Grace Decree)

Grace is not passive. It acts. It speaks. It infuses.

🧠 A REVELATION THAT SHIFTED EVERYTHING

One day, it hit me:

“This grace… it’s not just a covering. It’s a weapon.”

And that lines up with the Word:

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds…”(2 Corinthians 10:4)

If grace can influence a soul…If grace can be spoken to others…If grace can cause someone to turn to Yeshua…

Then grace is not just theological. It’s tactical.

🛡️ THIS GRACE BELONGS TO YESHUA

“Be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.”(2 Timothy 2:1)

This grace is not generic. It is His. It comes from Him. And now He gives it — to be used.

📜 PROOF TEXTS FOR THIS REVELATION

Here are just a few scriptures from my study that confirmed what grace really does:

  • Psalm 45:2 – Grace is poured from lips

  • 2 Corinthians 12:9 – Grace is sufficient power for all weakness (body or soul)

  • 3 John 1:2 – Our health and prosperity are linked to the condition of our soul

  • Hebrews 4:12 – The Word divides soul and spirit, judges thoughts and intentions

  • Acts 11:23 – Grace was seen, and it compelled the heart

  • Romans 12:6 – Our gifts differ according to the grace given to us

Yeshua’s grace is designed to transform, govern, strengthen, and show visible proof that it is working.

🗣️ CALL TO ACTION

Say this aloud:

“Yeshua, by Your grace, transform my will. Rewire my emotions. Govern my soul. Let Your influence replace the damage left by sin — and let my life be a visible sign that Your grace is working in me.”

And if you’re ready to go deeper, download the [Grace Decree] and begin speaking grace over the people God has placed on your heart.
