Notice Regarding Capacity, Standing, Publication, and Peaceful Use

Sharing Salish is a privately maintained body of research, testimony, educational material, source documentation, and original work created on the Land and soil of Washington.
Sharing Salish exists to cultivate understanding through careful observation, thoughtful inquiry, preservation of sources, and responsible stewardship of knowledge.
The administrator acts as an American in private capacity, as a member of the General Public — Americans standing in their original political status — and not as an incorporated entity, Federal Employee, Federal Dependent, British Territorial U.S. Citizen, or Municipal citizen of the United States.
Nothing presented through Sharing Salish is intended to silently redefine, substitute for, or create a presumption concerning the capacity in which the administrator acts.
Notice to Those Acting in Federal, Territorial, Municipal, Corporate, or Representative Capacities
Persons acting in Federal, Territorial, Municipal, administrative, corporate, agency, fiduciary, or other representative capacities are welcome to access and interact peacefully with Sharing Salish.
The capacity of another party does not alter, redefine, or create a presumption concerning the capacity, standing, authorship, property, or intent of Sharing Salish or its administrator.
Where another party acts in a representative capacity, that capacity should be disclosed where material to the interaction.
This notice is provided so that distinctions of capacity are preserved rather than assumed.
Research, Testimony, and Publication
Sharing Salish contains several different forms of material.
These may include:
-
original writings and commentary;
-
public testimony and personal testimony;
-
research studies and research notes;
-
transcripts and source archives;
-
study guides and educational resources;
-
public records and reproduced source materials;
-
working hypotheses and questions under investigation;
-
notices, declarations, correspondence, and administrative records.
These forms should not be confused with one another.
-
A question is not a conclusion.
-
A research hypothesis is not an established fact.
-
Testimony identifies what the speaker or writer attests to.
-
A source document speaks according to its own contents.
Commentary and interpretation should be read as such.
Where practicable, Sharing Salish seeks to preserve the path by which an understanding was reached so that readers may examine the underlying material for themselves.
Independent Inquiry and Responsible Use
Material published here is offered for study, inquiry, documentation, preservation, and education.
Readers are encouraged to examine original sources, compare records, identify distinctions, ask questions, and reach their own informed conclusions.
No reader is asked to accept a claim merely because it appears on this website.
Sharing Salish does not knowingly present another person's statement, teaching, publication, or interpretation as independently verified fact merely because it has been cited, discussed, archived, or studied here.
Correction, clarification, additional evidence, and good-faith rebuttal are part of responsible inquiry and are welcomed where appropriate.
Peace, Protection, and Safe Conduct
Sharing Salish is maintained for peaceful purposes.
The administrator claims and relies upon the guarantees, protections, treaties, trusts, agreements, and other assurances applicable to Americans acting peacefully in their proper capacity.
Sharing Salish expects peaceful, honest, and good-faith conduct from those who access, communicate with, cite, respond to, or otherwise interact with this work.
Nothing published here should reasonably be construed as an invitation to threaten, harass, intimidate, impersonate, trespass upon, interfere with, or cause injury to any living man or woman or their property.
-
Disagreement is not hostility.
-
Questions are not threats.
-
Documentation is not aggression.
Good-faith correction, rebuttal, and examination of evidence remain welcome.
Private Property, Authorship, and Original Works
Sharing Salish and its original works are privately created and maintained.
All God-given unalienable rights, property interests, authorship interests, and applicable rights in original works are retained and reserved.
The public display of an original work does not, by itself, constitute abandonment, transfer of ownership, authorization to falsely attribute the work, or permission to materially alter its meaning.
Source documents belonging to others remain attributable to their respective authors, publishers, custodians, or originating bodies.
Where third-party materials are quoted, summarized, indexed, archived, or discussed, their inclusion is for purposes such as research, documentation, education, commentary, comparison, criticism, or preservation of the record.
-
No Silent Presumptions
Access to Sharing Salish does not, by itself, establish a commercial relationship, fiduciary relationship, agency relationship, political-status agreement, waiver of rights, or transfer of property between the visitor and Sharing Salish.
No contrary capacity is knowingly assented to merely through correspondence, website access, publication, inquiry, or other peaceful interaction.
Where an actual agreement is intended, its terms should be knowingly and expressly stated by the parties involved.
Corrections and the Continuing Record
Sharing Salish is a growing body of work.
-
Research may develop as additional records are located, distinctions become clearer, or earlier understandings require correction.
-
Material may therefore be supplemented, corrected, annotated, or superseded.
-
Substantive corrections should be preserved transparently where the integrity of the historical research record requires it.
The purpose is not to manufacture certainty.
The purpose is to preserve an honest path toward understanding.
Reservation of Rights
All rights reserved, without prejudice.

This Lawful Notice is provided openly so that the capacity, purpose, authorship, and peaceful intent of Sharing Salish
may be known before interaction occurs.
