This private domain is operated in peaceful honor by a living woman on the land and soil, and is intended solely for private, voluntary exchange with other living men and women who walk in like manner. All interactions here are private, voluntary, and without controversy.

Private Notice & Agreement for Peaceful Use

Hold Harmless Declaration

This declaration affirms the principles under which living men and women may voluntarily interact with Sharing Salish.

Sharing Salish recognizes that not all living men and women think, act, believe, interpret evidence, or reach conclusions alike. Its purpose is to preserve peace, good faith, mutual respect, careful inquiry, and personal responsibility throughout interaction with this website and its body of work.

Viewing, reading, searching, or otherwise accessing this website does not, by itself, constitute acceptance of a contract or agreement and is not represented as the equivalent of a wet-ink signature.

Where a living man or woman voluntarily chooses to enter into a specific exchange, correspondence, collaboration, contribution, service arrangement, or other relationship with Sharing Salish, any terms applicable to that interaction may be communicated and mutually agreed upon before proceeding.

Each party remains responsible for their own words, actions, representations, interpretations, choices, and obligations. No party is expected to assume responsibility for the independent acts, conclusions, decisions, or liabilities of another except where expressly agreed.

Where an interaction requires additional terms, those terms may be stated in writing and knowingly accepted by the parties before performance begins.

Terms of Peaceful Use

Sharing Salish is a privately maintained body of research, testimony, educational material, source documentation, commentary, administrative records, and original works created and maintained on the Land and soil of Washington.

Visitors are welcome to explore publicly available material without thereby entering into an agreement, transaction, fiduciary relationship, agency relationship, political association, or other relationship with Sharing Salish.

Use of information found here remains the responsibility of the reader.

Sharing Salish encourages readers to examine sources, preserve distinctions, compare records, ask questions, and exercise their own judgment rather than accepting a claim solely because it appears on this website.

Where a living man or woman chooses to correspond, submit material, participate in research, request assistance, collaborate, or otherwise enter into a voluntary interaction with Sharing Salish, that interaction is expected to be undertaken peaceably, honestly, in good faith, and with respect for the stated capacity and boundaries of the parties.

No additional capacity, representation, obligation, consent, or relationship is intended merely because someone views, remains on, cites, links to, or communicates through this website.

Research and Publication Notice

Sharing Salish contains different kinds of material, and those distinctions matter.

Material may include:

  • original articles and commentary;

  • research studies and working research notes;

  • testimony;

  • transcripts and source archives;

  • public records and historical documents;

  • study guides and educational resources;

  • administrative notices and correspondence;

  • observations and chronology;

  • questions or hypotheses under investigation;

  • third-party source material discussed for research, education, criticism, commentary, comparison, or preservation of the record.

A question is not represented as a conclusion.

A hypothesis is not represented as an established fact.

Testimony records what the speaker or writer attests to.

A source document should be read according to its own contents.

Commentary, analysis, and interpretation should be understood as such.

Sharing Salish seeks, where practicable, to preserve the path to understanding by identifying the underlying source material from which observations or conclusions arise.

Readers remain responsible for independently examining material before relying upon it.

Corrections, Rebuttal, and the Continuing Record

Sharing Salish is a growing body of work.

Research may develop as additional sources are located, records are compared, distinctions become clearer, or earlier understandings require correction.

Published material may therefore be supplemented, annotated, corrected, updated, or superseded.

Good-faith correction, documentary rebuttal, additional source material, and clarification are welcome where relevant.

A correction does not erase the importance of preserving the historical path through which an understanding developed. Where appropriate, substantial revisions may therefore be identified or preserved as part of the continuing research record.

The purpose is not to manufacture certainty where certainty does not exist.

The purpose is to pursue understanding faithfully and preserve the record responsibly.

Right to Revise

This Agreement may be revised as Sharing Salish grows, its resources develop, or greater clarity is needed concerning use of the site and interaction with its work.

Any revision applies prospectively from the date it is published.

A later revision does not, by itself, alter the terms of a separate agreement already entered into between the parties.

Where an existing relationship requires a material change to previously agreed terms, that change should be communicated and mutually agreed upon before becoming part of that relationship.

The current version of this Agreement will remain available for review.

Use Is Always Voluntary

No living man or woman is compelled to remain on this website, subscribe to its publications, participate in its research, correspond with Sharing Salish, or continue an association.

Likewise, Sharing Salish reserves the right to decline or discontinue voluntary correspondence, participation, collaboration, contribution, access to non-public resources, or other association where appropriate.

Disengagement may occur without hostility and without creating an obligation to continue a voluntary relationship.

Voluntary Exchanges

Where Sharing Salish offers or enters into an actual exchange involving goods, services, research assistance, publications, educational resources, licensing, commissions, contributions, or another agreed undertaking, the nature and terms of that exchange will be communicated separately where necessary.

Exchange may take a mutually acceptable form.

The nature, scope, value, timing, obligations, and method of an exchange should be understood by the parties before performance begins.

Neither party is required to accept proposed terms.

Once terms are knowingly and mutually agreed upon, each party is expected to honor the commitments made.

Where circumstances interfere with performance, the parties are encouraged to communicate in good faith and seek honorable resolution, correction, replacement, return, or another mutually appropriate remedy where justly due.

My word is my bond.

Jurisdiction and Capacity Notice

Sharing Salish does not knowingly consent to a change in political, personal, administrative, fiduciary, corporate, or other capacity merely by maintaining this website, publishing information, receiving correspondence, conducting research, or entering into a voluntary private interaction.

Nothing on this website is intended to silently create or concede a capacity, legal presumption, agency relationship, fiduciary obligation, license, registration, or jurisdiction that has not otherwise been knowingly undertaken.

Sharing Salish approaches its affairs according to conscience, peaceful conduct, personal responsibility, the principles it identifies as American Common Law, and its faith in the Creator.

Nothing presented here should be understood as individualized legal, financial, medical, or other licensed professional advice.

Visitors remain responsible for determining what authorities, rules, laws, agreements, or obligations may apply to their own circumstances.

No Trespass — Private Domain Notice

Sharing Salish respects the privacy, property, rights, records, communications, and peaceful activities of others and expects the same respect in return.

No person acting individually or in a corporate, governmental, administrative, Territorial, Municipal, fiduciary, agency, or other representative capacity is invited or authorized to misrepresent their identity, capacity, authority, or purpose when interacting with Sharing Salish.

Legitimate inquiries should be made openly, peaceably, and in good faith, with representative capacity disclosed where material to the interaction.

Nothing on this website constitutes consent to unauthorized access to private accounts, non-public records, communications, property, systems, unpublished research, or other private information.

Sharing Salish reserves all applicable rights concerning its private property, records, communications, research materials, original works, and peaceful activities, without prejudice.

Intellectual Property and Source Materials

Original writings, research compilations, study materials, photographs, graphics, organizational systems, educational resources, designs, and other original works created by Sharing Salish remain the property of their creator unless different terms are expressly stated.

Viewing, quoting, receiving, downloading where permitted, citing, or otherwise obtaining access to an original work does not, by itself, transfer ownership of that work.

No permission to materially alter, misattribute, reproduce for commercial use, republish in substantial part, sell, or falsely represent an original Sharing Salish work as one's own is implied merely by public availability.

Reasonable quotation, citation, commentary, criticism, scholarship, research, and other uses should identify the source where appropriate and remain subject to applicable law.

Third-party materials appearing within Sharing Salish remain attributable to their respective authors, publishers, custodians, or originating bodies.

Their inclusion does not constitute a claim of ownership by Sharing Salish.

Where Sharing Salish provides access to, excerpts from, summaries of, or commentary upon third-party materials, those materials are included for purposes such as research, education, criticism, commentary, comparison, documentation, or preservation of the record.

All rights in original Sharing Salish works not expressly conveyed are retained and reserved.

All rights reserved, without prejudice.

Good-Faith Engagement

Sharing Salish welcomes peaceful inquiry, thoughtful disagreement, constructive correction, documentary rebuttal, and good-faith discussion.

Those who enter this space are asked to do so honestly and with respect for the boundaries of others.

Threatening, knowingly deceptive, harassing, impersonating, destructive, or persistently disruptive conduct is not welcome.

Sharing Salish reserves the right to discontinue voluntary interaction or restrict access to non-public resources where necessary to preserve peace, privacy, or the integrity of its work.

Disagreement alone is not misconduct.

Good-faith questioning is not hostility.

Correction supported by evidence is part of responsible inquiry.

Faith-Based Foundation

Sharing Salish is rooted in faith in He Whose Name is not spoken, the Creator of Heaven and Earth.

The stewardship of knowledge, preservation of truth, treatment of others, and conduct of this work are approached through that foundation.

Sharing Salish seeks to act according to love, truth, mercy, personal responsibility, righteous judgment, and conscience.

Nothing published here requires a visitor to share that faith or belief in order to read, study, or examine the material.

Sharing Salish nevertheless reserves the freedom to decline participation in any request, collaboration, publication, or relationship that would require the administrator to act contrary to conscience or sincerely held faith.

Privacy

Sharing Salish respects the privacy of those who visit the site or voluntarily communicate, contribute information, correspond, or enter into an agreed interaction.

Information voluntarily provided through contact forms, email, research correspondence, submissions, requests, or other direct communication will be used only as reasonably necessary to respond, communicate, maintain appropriate records, perform an agreed undertaking, preserve evidence where appropriate, or provide an agreed remedy.

Sharing Salish does not intentionally sell personal information voluntarily provided directly to it.

This website may use third-party hosting, analytics, embedded content, forms, payment services, email tools, video platforms, or other technologies that process information according to their own terms and privacy practices.

Visitors should review the privacy practices of those providers where relevant.

Please use discernment when deciding what personal information to provide online. Information not reasonably necessary to an inquiry or interaction need not be supplied.

Reservation of Rights

All rights reserved, without prejudice.

NOTICE TO AGENT IS NOTICE TO PRINCIPAL; NOTICE TO PRINCIPAL IS NOTICE TO AGENT.

This notice is provided openly so that the nature, purpose, boundaries, authorship, and peaceful intent of Sharing Salish may be understood before voluntary interaction occurs.
